Have any of you experienced what I just experienced?

Have you ever listened to a favorite song, and all of a sudden the words hit you and you finally HEAR the song for the first time? The song you already know and love transforms to this whole other being.. sending you into a dizzying spin of emotions. I can’t explain how or why it happens, but when it does, you’ll never be able to listen to the song the same way again.

That very thing just happened to me with one of my favorite Six Market Blvd. songs, “Still-water Pillowcase” from their new album Shake It Down, released earlier this year. It is a phenomenal album from start to finish. You’re missing out on some of the best music being made if you don’t know this band.

The words, the music, the emotion just hit me.

Like a brick to the head.
